God Has Two Types of Sons
- Begotten-God has only one Begotten Son
- Jesus is God’s only Begotten Son
- God is Jesus’ natural & spiritual Father
- God loved Jesus so much because Jesus was obedient
- Adopted-All those who have been born again Eph 1:4-5
- Now are we the sons of God I John 3:1-2
- We love God because his love is shed abroad in our hearts Rom 5:5
- As Jesus was obedient, God expects the same from us
How Were We Adopted?
- Through the blood of Jesus, his atonement Eph 1:6-7
- God made us the accepted in the beloved Eph 1:6
- God has begotten us again unto a lively hope I Pet 1:3-4
- We are kept by the power of God through faith I Pet 1:5
- By the Holy Spirit- The Holy Spirit causes us to speak in tongues Rom 8:15
We Are Joint-Heirs With Christ
- God appointed Jesus to be heir of all things Heb 1:1-2
- We are joint-heirs with Christ through the Spirit Rom 8:17
What Do All Believers Inherit?
- Eternal life Titus 1:2
- The Holy City Rev 21:2
- There are streets paved with transparent gold Rev 21:21
- Mansions John 14:1-3
What Must We Do To Receive All Our Inheritance?
- We must accept Him- As many as received him to them gave he power to become the sons of God John 1:12
- Hang in there when you are going through
- God chastens those whom he loves Heb 12:8
- This will help us to maintain sonship Heb 12:6-11
- Work out your own salvation with fear and trembling Phil 2:12
- Sometimes we make unwise choices but, stay in the church and keep on praying
Rewards For Being Faithful
- You will get an anointing
- Being faithful makes you a better preacher and a minister
- You will bear fruit
