The Forgiveness of Sins
The Unregenerated Man- Our Former State
- Adam & Eve fell into sin in the Garden of Eden through disobedience – Gen 3
- The result brought in disobedience & sin to all men – Ro 5:12
- This opened man up into the psychic world
- This explains why there are fortune tellers, tarot card readers & psychics e. They need their sins to be forgiven – Rom 3:23
- Satan has control over their will
- Darkness causes one to stumble & not advance spiritually – Joh 11:10
- Darkness causes one to not grow in their ministry
The Regenerated Man – Begotten or Born Again
- They have been forgiven of ALL their sins
- God wants to forgive us but, we must believe on his Son – Joh 10:9-16
- Anytime you want to experience forgiveness of sins again, or need to be restored again, read, believe and pray verse 7 – John 14:6, Eph 1:7
- They are believers, have faith in God – Rom 1:17
- He receives three things from God
- Redemption – We receive through his blood – Eph 1:7
- Forgiveness of sins-Rest in this & believe this – John 8:32
- This will cause you to walk in a new depth and a new awareness & in a new light
- Darkness causes one to stumble & not advance spiritually
- Darkness causes one to not grow in their ministry
- Riches of his grace- By being forgiven of all our sins
- We receive this by believing on the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus- Rom 10:14-17
How To Receive Salvation Initially
- Hear & reading the word + Faith & Trust = Salvation
- Hearing the word of God that is taught and preached – Rom 10:17
- Study the bible – II Tim 2:15
- Understand what you read & hear – Acts 8:30
- Philip told the eunuch, “understandest thou what thou readest”
- Evil spirits fight against you reading the bible
- Make a decision after you understand the word – Eph 1:13
- You have a choice to believe or doubt the word
- The end result, if you choose to believe is faith in God – Eph 1:13-14
- Having faith in God’s word will bring salvation Heb 10:35
- Holy Sprit = earnest of our inheritance Eph 1:13
- Trust in Jesus, He will never fail Eph 1:13
- Faith and salvation go together, you can’t have one without the other
- It is like love and marriage, those two go together
- Believe who God is
- Hearing the word of God that is taught and preached – Rom 10:17
Who is God?
- The Father of the Lord Jesus Christ Eph 1:3
- He is also the God of Jesus Christ Eph 1:3
- He blesses us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places Eph 1:3
- He raised His Son Jesus from the dead
- God never fails
- Salvation comes from God
- God gives you salvation on what you heard about Jesus Eph 4:21
- And what you believe to be the truth about Jesus
What is the Riches of His Grace?
- This implies how willing God is able to forgive us
- This is based on God’s Son, how & why he died for us
- Eternal life in the new world
- You are going to reign with Him forever
The Danger of Leaving The Riches of His Grace
- Regretting if you were just not called to preach
- Entertaining the thought & feeling of why you are in this Acts 19:24
- How do you back out royally without making a mess
- People think they are getting away
- It may look like its working
- There is coming a day when you have to answer for that
- God will deal with it later in the judgment
- You will have to answer because you were predestinated, but you decided to jump track
- You were deceived, but it doesn’t get you off the hook
- The Holy Spirit is there to help all those that are predestinated
- No one believes just from their freewill because before we came to the Lord, Satan had control over our will
- The Spirit also works with the Word providing the preacher or teacher giving the word has the Spirit
- The sooner you believe, the better
- Those who usually go far in the Lord are those who open up their heart to the Lord immediately.
- You could be a front runner for God, just make up in your mind that you are going to make up for lost time.
- Know ye not, we all run in a race
- I come to noon prayer because I want the prize
- That is our motivation, there is one prize, and we all are going together.
