Get your church on the map
Every CLGI church needs their church to show up on Google Maps as their church – not a nameless address or previous business. Get started with Google My Business at www.google.com/business and work through the guided steps. This is completely free and results in your church being found on the map accurately.
It might be helpful to perform test searches like “churches near me” or using your city name preceded by “church in” to see what Google Maps will find. This can help further develop the wording and content for the church listing. Be prepared to include photographs of the property, staff, and activities to further enhance the listing.
Get listed on the locator
We are excited to offer a new church locator on our website. It has some improvements over previous listings, making it easier than ever to find a CLGI church and get directions. Every CLGI church should be included with its location displaying accurately, so we need your help!
It is very important to complete the first steps with Google My Business. Once you’ve confirmed the church is on Google Maps, then it’s ready for the next step. Reach out to your jurisdictional secretary to request the addition of your church to the site.
