Our Statement Of Faith Return to Top
We believe that the Bible is the verbally inspired Word of God , infallible and inerrant in the original writings.
We believe there is only one Living and True God, maker of Heaven and earth, and of all things visible and invisible; and in Jesus Christ, the only begotten Son of God, who was with God in the beginning, (Jn 1:1-2;14); and in the Holy Ghost, the Spirit of Truth which proceeds from the Father and Son, and is equal with the Father and Son, (I Jn 5:7) and is a gift to the believer (Jn 14:16-17, Acts 1:8, Jn 15:26).
We believe in the virgin birth of Jesus Christ and that He suffered, was crucified, died and buried, the third day He rose again, He ascended into Heaven, and sitteth on the right hand of the Father, and His return is imminent in order to judge the quick and dead (Mt 1:18-25, Acts 2:22-24, 30-32, Mk 16, Lk 24, Acts 7:55-56, Eph 1:20-23, Heb 1:3-4, Acts 1:11,II Thes 1:7-10).
We believe in the personality of Satan, adversary of God and man (Gen 3:1-5, 14-15, Isa 14:12-14, Ezek 28:12-15, Mt 4:1-11, II Cor 11:14, I Pet 5:8).
We believe that man was created in the image of God, and sinned bringing death to all in his fall (Gen 1:26-27, 2:7, 3:1-19, Rom 5:12, I Cor 15:21-22).
We believe in the repentance from sin, in the atonement by the substitutionary death and shed blood of Jesus Christ for the propitiation of the sins of the world (Mt 4:17, Lk 24:27, Rom 5:6-10, II Cor 5:15, I Pet 1:18-19, II Cor 5:21).
We believe that salvation is by grace through personal faith in Jesus Christ, thereby experiencing the new birth (Eph 2:8, Jn 3:1-17, Jn 1:11-13, Pet 1:18-23).
We believe in the baptism by immersion in water (Mt 3:13-17, Jn 1:29-34, Mt 28:19, Mk 16:15-16, Acts 2:38).
We believe in sanctification and in the baptism, filling and indwelling of the Holy Spirit in the believer. We believe in the operation of the gifts of the Spirit in the Church (Jn 17:17-20, Eph 5:26, I Thes 5:23, Heb 13:12, I Pet 3:12, I Pet 3:15, Acts 2:4, Acts 1:8, Acts 19:1-6, I Cor 12:4-14, I Cor 12:40.

Our Vision Statement Return to Top
The Vision of the Church of the Living God International, Inc. is to establish churches in every city, state, and country; to build a community of churches in every city that is committed to dynamic true worship and that will cause the power of God to reach the unchurched. We believe that to make an impact on an area with the message of faith and power, it is essential that we strategically place churches in various locations throughout that area.
To effectively achieve this goal, we envision a church membership of a minimum of 75 members to a maximum of 500. When church membership reaches 300 members, steps should be taken to establish a new cell. Within three years, each new cell should become a fully functional thriving church of its own.

Training
|
Because our vision is to establish churches in every community, we must develop, motivate, and train bible study leaders who will initiate and develop the cell for the next church. We must actively endeavor “to seek and to save that which is lost” as we were commanded in the words of Jesus Christ. We must go into the hedges and highways to compel men and women to come to Him. By so doing, we will fulfill the great commission that Jesus gave to the disciples (Matt. 28:19-20).
We envision people being filled with the Spirit of God. We believe what apostle Paul said, “Every knee shall bow and every tongue shall confess that Jesus Christ is Lord.” (Phil. 2:11) Through prayer, fasting, and dedication, every worship service shall be filled with the dynamic life changing power of the Holy Spirit and every believer will be filled with the power of God (Acts 2:3-4). We are confident that this will make an impact on the community in which the church is located. Each worship service shall reflect our vision by being a place for people to come to receive healing, deliverance, and nurturing through the teaching and preaching of the Word of God, and the ministry of music in song and praise.
